Acrobat Reader and Adobe Reader

Hi All:
There is a problem of the understanding, as to a
difference between,
(1) "Acrobat Reader 5.0" and "Adobe Reader 6.0."

Besides this above, when I tried to open some web-site,
it asked me to;
(2)'Upgrade' 'Adobe Reader 6.0,... for that I did
comply. Hence, the Adobe Reader became from 'Adobe
Reader 6.0' to 'Adobe Reader 6.01.' Is there any benefit
in regard to access to 'Adobe Reader?'

Hello Annie,

As far as the free reader software goes, with the release of v 6.x, Adobe
Systems -- the vendor of Adobe Acrobat software -- now calls its reader
Adobe Reader.

I'm pretty sure that before v 6.x, it was referred to as Adobe Acrobat.
