ACPI BIOS not compliant....

Hi,
I am working with Win2k without any problem all the while
until one fine day, the system just hang while I am using
Office2000 Word. When I reboot it, it gives me a BSOD
after Win2k logo screen. I tried to use another HD that
have Win2kServer pre-installed on the same machine to
startup, and I received the same problem. According to
KBA Q256841, it seems that this is common during
installation. But my scenario here is different. Is there
anyone out there who can help me with this?

Thanks in advance

The usual questions arise: is hardware and drivers W2K compliant? What about
bios ACPI compatibility? Did you verify for a bios update from motherboard
manufacturer in the case they have an ACPI compatible flash bios update? How
is the scenario different?

Thanks for reply.
My question is... why does it happen suddenly when all
the while I've been using it for quite sometimes without
any problem? I have not install any new hardware to my
knowledge. Neither have I reinstall any new driver...
*puzzled*
