Weird. Nothing at all. No EXE, no registry entry.
Maybe Spybot or Ad-Aware neutered it.
I've just finished an install. Procedure I used ...
1. Told TUN to take a "before" snapshot.
2. Ran the installer (a nasty MSI + InstallShield pairing).
3. Nakido.exe immediately phoned home. Told Kerio to block it.
4. Pulled out Process Viewer and killed the Nakido process.
5. Told TUN to take an "after" snapshot.
6. Had TUN remove all the added registry entries (there was a bunch of MSI
krap etc). And remove the added files spewed around on drive C.
(Preserved only the local folder for the program, nothing else.
7. Took another "before" snapshot.
8. Launched the program.
9. Disabled shell integration via its menu (Tools>Options>System).
10. Took an "after" snapshot.
11. Saved that record. For uninstall, I will need to only to delete the
Firegraphic folder and delete its HKCU regkey
[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Firegraphic.com]
.. . . .
So, yes, as has been pointed out, the nasties can be stripped off.
However, the whole Nakido business makes it sound to me that it is surely
mal/spyware as far as how we defined that: the program's _intention_ (user
workarounds aside).
