ACDSee equivalent ??

I'm searching for a freeware app that will do part of what ACDSee
does, namely view all graphic images as smaller images for selection
and viewing. Ability to rotate would be a plus. Thanks.

video files much easier. It gives you the ability to watch movies, listen to

another, prints, and create an HTML album. This software is 100% free, no

Firegraphic is my favorite by far. Default settings work wonderfully for
viewing pictures.

Possible spyware. NAKIDO.EXE tries to make an outbound connection. I've
never heard of that, so I don't know what it is. It was still running even
after I uninstalled the app.

Hey Tim, I use Firegraphic, and don't find that file on my system at all. It
may be associated with the e-mail feature in the commercial version. Please
keep me posted.

Spyware but can be neutered easy enough.
After install, I deleted nakido.exe and nakido.dat (after killing the
process) Firegraphic works just fine without them :) You'll also need to
uncheck Nakido with msconfig-->services.

Tried Firegraphic. It cannot display in thumbnails many of my .tiff
files. Will try others.
Irfanview is nice, except that it will not re-open at same place I
left it. Gotta sort through my folders each time I use it and re-open
a file in it.

It's better to delete the key from
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Nakido. May as well
get that crap out of the registry.

Didn't find it Dud!

I guess that's good news. It only chooses a *few people to spy on. :)

Weird. Nothing at all. No EXE, no registry entry.

Maybe Spybot or Ad-Aware neutered it.
