Is it possible to set the account properties on a specific ou that is valid
for domain users. If I do so it seems that these properties only seem to
apply to local user account, but not to a logged on domain user. Is it
therefore only possible to set these properties in the default domain
policy?

TIA

You cannot assign different password policy to an OU. You can only have one
password policy per domain. If you define an account policy at an OU level
the policy will only apply to local accounts. See the following articles

Thanks for the info - that's also what I saw. Just couldn't believe it. Do
you know if that is changed in 2003 domains?
