Accessing files & folders on xpHome HD

Hello,
I am trying to access a user's folder in Documents and Settings on their old
HD running xpHome in order to copy pictures and stuff to their new system
which is running xpPro. When I select the drive, I get an "Access Denied"
popup window. Is is possible to offload the files and folders from the old
drive to the new one without using File Transfer Wizard?
