access sent messages outlook 2007

I do not have a folder for sent messages. Does this mean that they are not
being saved? I just set up Outlook 3 days ago, and really need to retreive
some of the messages I've sent. Help?

That should be a default folder that you don't need to setup. If you look in
the full folder tree/list do you see it? Also, make sure the option to save
items in Sent Items is set here: Tools menu > Options > Email options.

Just to be sure, which version of Outlook are you using?
