Access password protected account on recovery drive

I had a corrupted hard drive on a computer with Windows XP. I bought a new
drive and installed Windows Vista. I have the old drive in a hard drive
enclosure with USB connectivity. My XP account was password protected (I
know the password). When I try to access folders in Vista on the old drive,
it says I do not have permission.

How do I enter my password to access the old drive files?
