access denied

Hi,

I'm trying to dispose of the remnants of an uninstall. I found a directory
full of oddly named files, all 'read-only'. When I try to change file
read-only file attribute WinXP replied "access denied". This is the first
time I've seen this in WinXP although this seems to be more common in Vista.

How do I delete these remnants?

Try Unlocker - http://download.cnet.com/Unlocker/3000-2248_4-10493998.html

Unlocker should be able to remove the remnants and it is *not* malicious
software.
