Access Denied installing Multimedia Audio Controller

R

Rene

I have onboard audio on my Asus motherboard which was
working fine untill I tried to install XP SP1. During the
installation of SP1 I received an error message saying
access denied when the system was installing the
Multimedia Audio Controller.

Since then I have tried Uninstalling and reinstalling the
audio and still no success.

I even tried disabling the on board audio and installing a
SB Live card and I still recieve the same message.

I tried reinstalling the XP OS over top of my current
installation and still no success. I have device driver
signing set to "Warn" so I do not think that is the
problem either...

This one is bothering me... help !!! :(
