access denied after changing default domain GPO

richard

On my win2k domain controller, after updating the default
domain GPO security settings, (via Windows XP client mmc)
I now receive an Access denied message when trying to
change any other subsequent security settings. Can anyone
think what may have been changed that won't allow me to
change other settings??

thanks,
richard

Do you remember what settings you changed? What exact message are you getting as
far as access is denied? By default any user configuration settings are also
applied to the administrators unless the policy is filtered to exempt them by
giving deny permission to apply. Possibly the link below may help. --- Steve
