Access 97 runtime

Hi,

I'm trying to run an old Access 97 application on a
machine that has Office 2000 installed on it. I installed
the Access 97 runtime to the folder where the application
sits. When I tried to run the application, it
said "Unable to find Language DLL". So I copied
msain800.dll to the folder. Now it says "Unable to
initialize windows registry - rerun MsAccess 97 setup" - I
don't want to install Access 97 because the user doesn't
have it. Any ideas/suggestions??? Any help would be
greatly appreciated!

Thanks

I would make sure that when you install the application that you have full
user privileges if the pc is running windows2000, or winXP.

I would also test the application with full user rights also. There are
number of problems running a97 on win2000, or winXP boxes when users have
restricted privileges.
