Access 2007 Entrprises constantly reinstalls itself

I have Office 2003 Pro and Office 2007 Enterprise installed on my computer.
Any time I open Access 2007 the Installer/Configuration screen opens and 5
minutes later Access will. If I try to open Access 2003 after this, it's
installer will open an do the same thing. How can I fix this behavior? I'm
not totally ready to quit using 2003 because of not totally understanding
2007.

Switching back and forth causes each version to reset and check all registry
and security settings, creating the delay you see. Office 2007 SP1 will
improve but not eliminate this problem.

Known "issue". You can look into using VirtualPC if you want isolated systems
that will not suffer this re-registering busisness each time you switch
versions. You would create a virtual machine for each configuration you want.
Another alternative would be to create two separate bootable partitions,
installing each version of Office in a different partition. However, either
of the above options requires that you have separate licenses for the
operating system, so this may not be so palatable for you.
