Access 2003 wizards won't work

I recently purchased microsoft office 2003 professional. However, when I
tried to use any wizard in access, I keep getting the same error message:

"This feature isn't installed, or has been disabled. To install this
feature, rerun the microsoft access or microsoft office setup program or, if
you're using a third-party add-in, reinstall the add-in. To reenable this
wizard, click About Microsoft Office Access on the Help menu, and then click
the Disabled Items button to view a list of addins which you can enable."

I checked and there were no disabled items. I've also tried completely
uninstalling office and then reinstalling it again but get the same results
when I open access. Is there something I can do to resolve this error
message?

Take a look at this KB article (these generally apply to later versions as well):

Wizards do not start when you try to start any of the Access 2000 wizards:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q242218/

And maybe this one as well:
ACC2000: Error Message When Running Access Wizards
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=303769

You can also try registering DAO360.dll.
From Start --> Run you would type the following:
regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\DAO\dao360.dll"

Note: You may need to change the path to DAO360 if this is different on your machine.

Hope that helps,

speaking of 'projects'

one of the best features in Access 2000-2003 is the support for 'Access
Data Projects'

i would reccomend learnign SQL Server and developing with Access Data
Projects.

it's a great platform
