Access 2002 Lock File Location

I'd like to change the default location of the lock file that is generated
when a .mdb is opened. Usually, it is put in the same location as the .mdb.
Does anyone know how to specify the location?

You cannot change the location. The lock file opens in the same place
as the associated .mdb file.
