About Intel Network Software Update from Windows Update

When I open Windows Update from my Dell Dimension 8200
Windows XP Pro, it has new device driver for Intel Pro 100
M Network Card. I downloaded Intel Network Software
Update October 28, 2003. After I reboot my PC, I noticed
taht after I logon to Windows XP, it takes a long time to
show the desktop and taskbar. I even tried Ctrl-Alt-Del
not still no response. But NumLock responded. I tried to
go to Device Manager to roll back the device driver, but
the problem exists. I contact Dell but they told I should
call Microsoft. Please help. Thanks.

Try using System Restore to revert to a time before you installed the
update.
