Why wouldn't you want to have an error log???
They can be such a handy tool when you have problems.
If they get too big, then right away you know you have a
problem somewhere, which is why I suspect you don't want
it.

You can simply delete if it gets out of hand, but it serves its purpose
especially when diagnosing problems with the program. Its like a little
black box thats kept in aeroplanes, I say thats a good thing.

i don't like to constantly watch the error.log and i want
a software that i just leave it alone without worrying
about the error.log getting bigger. 2-3 GB of error.log
is a waste of harddrive size. I'm not the only one who
have encountered this problem i think all of us is.

Here's what I would suggest:
The big error log build-up that you are experiencing has
been reported several times on these posts. My error log
file is always around 10 to 12 KB, and I think that this
is what most users here have. I know of no software that
would take it out permanently since it is so useful for
trouble-shooting. Your best bet is to delete it
periodically as it becomes too big. It will be re-created
automatically with no data in it.
This is something which will probably be fixed when the
next Beta version or final version come out. I would just
be patient and try to live with it for awhile.
Maybe somebody else can add to this.

Its really a beta issue that some persons say is associated with lack of
support for fast user switching and limited accounts. It should be resolved
by beta 2 or RTM, in the mean time it can't be that hard just to delete it
at least once a week.

No, we are not all seeing this issue. I've seen in on two machines out of
about 3 dozen with Microsoft Antispyware installed.
