When I try to open pictures (in my pictures) I get the
following message: "program needed to open jpgs -
ab3.exe. - not found" . How can I resolve this. I
formally was able to open photos without any difficulty.
Also I cannot locate Windows Picture and Fax viewer.

It looks like you need to select a different default app for opening jpg
files.

1. Right click on a jpg file you'd like to open
2. Open With > Choose Program...
3. Select "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" (or a different program you'd
like to use to open jpg files)
4. Check the box for "Always use the selected program to open this kind of
file"
5. Hit OK
6. Now close the image and try double clicking on various jpg files - they
should all open in the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer (or the program you
chose in step 3).
