A8N-SLI Deluxe BIOS flash

I'm about to buy a "A8N-SLI Deluxe". What I'm wondering is this, If I also
buy a "Athlon64 3800+ : rev E" is it possible to mount the cpu and then
flash the bios to the latest version (1007)?

Reason I ask is that on ASUS website it says that "rev E" is only supported
in bios 1007.

I don't wanna get stuck with a mobo that needs another cpu to be able to
flash the bios for the first time than the cpu I'm buying.

I hope you understand my question.

Thankful for an answer!

worst case is, it won't boot,

however most mobo's are warriors, and will not recognise the chip correctly,
so it may not show up in windows as an amd 64 etc. i think you can still
flash the bios the old fashoned way with a diskette, by booting from the
floppy before or install the os, i don't think it matters if you do it
before or after, but i'm pretty sure it will work.
