a7n8x-e deluxe memory?

Hello!

I am looking for a stick of PC3200 DDR for my computer.
I have found these two:

DDR APACER 512MB PC400 LFT CL2.5
DDR APACER 512MB PC400 LFT CL3.0

Which one is the fastest? Can somebody explain please?

....the CL2.5 and 3.0 refer to 'cache latency' - the less latency the better
(faster it is), thus the 2.5 is better. But as for APACER... its your choice
but the brand isnt one of the best. If you can find some CORSAIR or CRUCIAL
or GEIL for around the same price (unlikely), then get those instead.

(It stands for CAS Latency. CAS is Column Address Strobe. The address
bus to the memory is muliplexed, and on a given clock cycle, the
address bus contains either a row address or a column address. By
selecting a particular row and column, you pick an item out of the
memory. The CAS Latency is the time from giving the last bit of
needed address info, until the data comes rolling in. Example simplified
timing diagram below.)

Shortening CAS latency or delay, means the data phase happens
sooner.

oh I stand corrected - CAS Latency it is.. but disregard all that mumbojumbo
and just remember smaller numbers for it is better
