A7A266 & USB 2.0 ??

Until I get a new mobo, can USB 2.0 support be added to the A7A266? I have
one of the earlier ones, rev 1.03 I seem to remember.

I just got a Canon 5000F scanner and a higher speed USB capability might be
nice. BTW first impressions of the Canon scanner - very nice, good quality
& scans negatives.
