I've had a lot of BSODs over the last three months or so that I've been
using Vista, until recently ALL of them with IRQ_LESS_OR_NOT_EQUAL_TO
message but yesterday I got two with PFN_LIST_CORRUPT, and today one with
IRQ_etc and another with PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGE_AREA (something to do with
nvlddmkm.sys file).
This is a dual boot machine and I had none of these blue screens under XP
over a period of 9 months so I assume the problem is either down to Vista or
something not compatible with it.
I am getting rather concerned about the increasing frequency of these
crashes and now for different reasons. Perhaps replacing the motherboard
and RAM would solve the problem but I am worried that I may not be able to
activate my OEM version of Vista.
Would much appreciate any help to get this put right.
