97: initializing VBA libraries (1157)

Hi,

I'm running Excel 97 SR2 on Windows 98 SE. I'm trying to open a file but get
the error messages:

Could not register the Visual Basic Environment. Please run Setup.
and
An error initializing the VBA libraries (157).

It's been years and I don't have the setup disk anymore. What can I do?
