I have a driver in folder C:\windows\system32\drivers -
description-5.1.2600.1106 (xpsp1.020828-1920) that
previously showed up in my search for Atapi.sys, but it
does not show up now and my 200gb hard drive work very
poorly. The above driver is still in folder but I don't
think it is working. It is needed to support 48-bit LBA.
My 200GB H/D is running in DMA PIO mode, which is to slow
to play video files from this H/D. My primary 120GB H/D
is running in ultra DMA mode 5 and works fine. What do I
need to do to reactivate above driver. Thanks Foz
