3rd Party Software won't install after rebuild

I had to reinstall W2K Professional. I immediately ran
all Microsoft upgrades for the O/S and Office 2000 which I
also installed. Now Parsons, Iomega and Intuit products
won't install. Can't get setup or install programs to
execute. What gives? Is there a setting or parameter
that is restricting installation. All programs were
installed before just fine. Appreciate any help...

I have a similar situation where 3rd party software
begins the install wizard and reboots my PC during
install. I have 1 fresh W2k Pro with SP4 and and older
W2k that was fine until I updated to SP4. Any help in
this area is appreciated. The drivers I am trying to
install have worked with SP2 in the past and are known
and accpeted drivers.
