/3GB and EWF NTLDR?

G

Gert Leunen

Hello,

does the EWF NTLDR support the /3GB (and /USERVA) switches when specified in
boot.ini? When I use the regular NTLDR, applications report memory
availability as expected, but when starting with the EWF NTLDR, it seems to
ignore the setting (I've tried both on current level and committing the
changes to boot.ini)?

Thanks

Hi Gert

Is it possible that your editing the wrong boot.ini ?

1. Identify the correct boot.ini (should be on the active partition). If you
have multiple operating systems, there might be one on each. If it is
confusing , try adding a dummy entry and see if it is displayed in the boot
options
2. If EWF is enabled on the active partition , disable it before making
changes or commit changes to disk. Make sure changes have persisted.

Let us know if this does not work.

Thanks
Srikanth
