3 days to reactivate XP-not working

in the process of troubleshooting a bad memory stick, windows is
prompting(because I disconnected and removed devices while discovering the
bad memory stick) me to reactivate within 3 days. When I choose the "yes"
option, I get a new dialog window entitled actiavte windows...but there isn't
any of the normal options/fields to choose from...it's basically a blank blue
dialog box with 4 red x's where graphics are supposed to be. Even if I call
the toll free number, I'm not seeing the fields to even fill in a code in
this "activate windows" dialog box. I now have 1 1/2 days to reactivate.
Any ideas?

Start - Run the two lines
regsvr32 licdll.dll
regsvr32 regwizc.dll
and try again

sorry guys, but I do really appreciate your assistance. Re-registereing the
dlls and the microsoft article didn't work. I eventually found out that the
windows registry somehow was corrupted. I couldn't even repair. Then I ran
out of time (3 days to reactivate). I had to install XP as a dual boot
system and delete the old install. That's how I am now replying to this
post. Thank you very much again for your knowledge and help.

Regards,

Spideyt
