Can I associate a hardware profile to a user profile? Example: Jill (Admin) signs on....I want to use hardware Profile 1 so I have access to the Network and also the CD rom drive. Then Chris (user) signs on....I want her to use hardware Profile 2 where I disabled the CD drive and also the LAN connection, so she cannot listen to music CD's or have access to the Network.

Probably no.

Probably no.

I don't think you want to do this with hardware profiles. I think you
want to do this with policies. Be careful with the Global Policy
Editor, though, because it is a powerful tool.
