2nd Choice -- Getting ICONS to stick

I'm having trouble getting icons to stick. I want all my *.htm files
to display the Firefox icon. I've gone to Folders > Change Icon and
selected properly. But I get the default Dossy-Window-looking icon
instead.

Suggestions?

Here is what I did. Open any folder and go to folder options under
tools.
Pick the tab that says file types. Near the top of the list you will see
something tittled "Internet Shortcut"
Highlight that one, and then click on "advanced" and there is a tab
there for 'change icon'

Also in that same list go down to html, and htm, and make sure they are
associated with Firefox. Then go down more to 'url' and make sure that
one is also associated with Firefox.

Setting FF to be the default browser may be enough.
