28 Hotfix files left

I did the update to WIN2K and now in the add/delete software box I have
27 files with names such as Hotfix KB828741, in ascending numerical
order.

Also, in the Windows folder I have 28 folders with the same type of
name, such as KB835732, etc., each folder has a sub-folder named
spuninst.

Do I need to keep them? I guess the update process but them there but
why? Can I get rid of all of them in the Add/Remove software box with
one command or do I have to do each one after another.

These are the uninstall routines for various service pack and or hotfixes.
If you don't expect to ever require to back down from them then yes you can
delete them.

Then you can delete the key for them from;
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
