2007 keeps crashing

To whom it may concern and thank You in advance.

I used the 2003 version of Powerpoint (Small Business) with no troubles at
all and have now tried the 2007. It worked fine for a while but when I tried
to build in a movie it started to crash - and have done so ever since. The
movie is made in producer for powerpoint 2003.

It prompts me to start in secure mode and I follow the instructions on
screen. But when everything has been downloaded and updated and I try again
-it's still the same. It prompts me again and fail to start and so on ...

Im very busy on a school assignment and I can see no other option than to
desinstall the entire 2007 version. That's sad because the presentation is a
part of an entire website I have built in Publisher 2007. I would have to
export and edit that to my own 2003 version and thats timeconsuming

Is there any chance that You can help me fix the problem or let me reinstall
the 2007-powerpoint package? Is it poosible to overwrite my old version of
2007 without changing the other files i.e publisher?

I hope that You are able to help me. I'm willing to give You access to my
computer in order to find a solution.

Best regards

I think I've solved the problem. I´ve repaired PP via this compter/programs
and it took some time. I hope that was it. But thanks anyway

If you go into the Office button menu, PPT options, Resources, what
exact version information does it list there?

You should still check what the version info is and post it here.

I don't know about the "build a movie," but I do know that Producer is not
compatible with PPT 2007. So if the "build a movie" is dependent on
Producer, that's probably the problem.
