How do I import an publisher 2007 file into Powerpoint 2007?

How do I import an publisher 2007 file into Powerpoint 2007? I could do it
with 2003 but can not figure it out in powerpoint 2007?

Select all, then cut and past. but in 2007 it changes the whole page so I see
the pasted item but not the page. It's like it made the page background
vanish and when I desplay the slide nothing is on it in 2007.

I found that if I broke it into smaller pieces and copied that over then it
worked. Thanks!
