2000 to XP

I have an application that prints fine on a windows 2000 machine but when the
application is run on a XP machine, the print job spools the entire job and
does not print everything. I am using the same "shared" printer. Is there a
setting that can be changed on the XP Pro machine to have it handle the job
in the same manner as the 2000 machine?

You probably have the proper printer drivers installed for the 2000
machine but not for the XP machine. Go to the printer manufacturers
website and get the XP compatible drivers.

The correct driver is installed. Any other ideas?

How is the printer "shared" (print server device, windows server)? Is it
just one application that fails or printing from notepad also fails?
