2000 does not recognize an existing drive

I have a pc with 2 drives
drive 1 C: NTFS
drive 2 d: FAT32
I have reloaded windows 2000 on the c: drive.
Now windows 2000 will not recognize the data I had on my
d: drive. When I go into manage my computer it tells me
that the drive is not formated but it it

Under Disk Management is there a drive letter assigned to what used to be
the D:\ drive?
Is there a file system type listed? (NTFS, FAT32, RAW)
If there is a drive letter what happens when you run chkdsk (no switches) on
it from a CMD window?
