2 domains, 2 PDC Problem with roaming profile

@ á building site, we have 2 domains. and both company's whould like
to me able to use each other computers,
but i have a problemen when a user uses a computer with is member of
domain A and the user is from domain B the profile will not be loaded
from domain B ? i have a trusted relation between the domains.

anyone know's whats wrong ?
or where the problemen might be ?

Are the sites separated by a T1 or internet VPn link?
What are the average size of these profiles?
Is the trust transitive between domain A and B?
