2-column text placeholder and word import

Hi,
I would like import a file from Word into PPT, into the "two-column" text
placeholder format. The Word text is in outline format, with Level 1, 2, etc.
So far, I can only get my text to flow into the title text placeholder
(level 1) and the left-hand "column" (Level 2 and up) of each slide. Is it
possible to have the text "flow into" the right hand text placeholder without
doing a cut and paste?
