RICKY,

I'm new to the group but I have a couple of ideas.
Odin may be constantly polling the site it monitors, or perhaps a database,
the symptoms are the same. If you want to verify who the culprit is and what
its up to go to http://www.sysinternals.com and pick up a free copy of
FileMon 7.03. It will show you in real time what threads are running and what
they are looking for. Its good info for your software vendor.

Good Luck!

Open Windows Task Manager and go to the Processes tab.
Click twice on the CPU column header to sort the list into descending
order based on CPU usage, with the highest usage processes at the top.

Make note of the 3 or 4 processes with the highest CPU usage and post
that information back here. Disregard the "System Idle Process" as
that is just a placeholder to account for the time when the CPU has
nothing to do.

Good luck
