0xC0000022

Hi...I believe this started when windows updated. When my ID's with limited
access log on, 0xC0000022 error messages are noted in CcApp.exe and
PlFSvc.exe. Their Norton will not load and they are unable to use IE in the
manner they used to. Can anyone please help me with this? I am not a
computer expert, so I will need step by step assistance. I appreciate any
insight you can give! Thanks!

PlFSvc.exe.

Part of Norton's/Symantec's software. Personally, anytime I see a system
having problems that has Symantec installed - I suspect that product to be
at the root of the problem.

PS: You'll want to re-write your post and post again. It makes no sense as
is. At least not to me. (It's written in a mix of first party and third
party and very little details such as what "does not work" means to the
user.

CcApp.exe

This is part of Symantec too. BTW, I was just reading in a few other
groups. Seems to be a rash of this error going on. Since it involves an
application by Symantec, their technical support is what should be used for
troubleshooting.

Hi,

Or just the lack of read permission on a couple of dll files.

As well covered elsewhere.

You cannot blame Norton if your run time C library has become inaccessible due to a Windos update.

I have had the same problem running under Windows xp. Both user accounts
with "limited" access permissions have displayed these messages on log on for
a few weeks now. I sent error reports to Microsoft. No problems for the
last 9 months. I can therefore assume there must have been a Windows update
problem.

Last week I downloaded the most up to date release of Norton Internet
Security 7, and the problem is still occuring.

Please tell me what I can do. If I do need to change file permissions which
ones and how? I am not using those 2 users.
