Zooming in on Visio drawings in PPT 2007

I have many Visio plots and drawings in PPT presentations. I can doubleclick
the image on a slide to get to Visio 2003 for editing the Visio image.
However, I can neither zoom in or out on the image. Is this a bug or do I
need to alter a parameter in PPT 2007?

Thanks for your help.

Click on the object to select it, then click on Insert, Actions. Set the On
Mouse Click, Object Action to Edit.

Thanks for the feedback, However, when I tried the suggested change it didn't
help. In fact it made things slighly worse. Before making the setting I was
able to zoom in on the slide and then doubleclick. It would bring up the
object at that zoom level.

After making the setting when I doubleclick the object it always comes up in
Visio at 58%. I can not change the zoom. When I use Shift+Ctrl the zoom icon
appears but I can not zoom in using the thumbwheel. Also can't change image
size using the dropdown window.

What am I dong wrong?

Thanks

It may be some compatibility issue with PPT 2007 - Visio 2003. Try this:
Hit F5 to run the slideshow and Left Click once on the Visio Object.
This should open the full Visio application for you to edit the object (as
opposed to the window when you're in PPT Edit mode.

Hi Glenna,

Thanks for your reply. Howeve, I must be missing something. If I run the
slide show and left click on object it always acts like Page Down. I did find
that Ctrl+Left Click is Pge Up which I didn't know.

You are right about it being a compatibility problem. The zoom always worked
fine with PPT 2002 and Visio 2003.

Please tell me what I am doing wrong.

Thanks
