Zoom-out the backgroud

I have two slides that have two column of patterns on both left and right
sides. I would like to move both columns of patterns closer to centre
leaving more space on both sides. When I display it on a LCDTV, both left
and right sides are cut a bit. I am using PowerPoint 2003 and any
guidance/advice is appreciated.

Thanks,

Scott

The standard of NTSC = 720*480. PAL/Secam = 720*576. Your slides are thus
exceeding the TV's visible area. You must either allow for this manually by
adjusting your slide content to only cover about 90% of the actual slide
size, or you can play around with your pc/notebook screen resolution after
you've connected to the TV. It will be easier if you always use the same TV
as getting it displaying correctly on this one will most probably leave you
with a black border on another one. I don't know of any "automatic"
compensation method.
Hope this helps.
