do i have to uninstall zonealarm pro to test this beta

I didn't. Just turn it off while your doing the install. Also turn off any
other program running at that time.

Remember it's a beta so there are no guarantees.

Not at all--please don't. This product does NOT substitute for a firewall,
or for a currently updated antivirus application.

You may need to let Zonealarm know about the various pieces of the
antispyware app that need to communicate outbound for various reasons--check
the help-search on firewall ports.
