Every time I try to use my zip code to locate a dealer close to me at various
websites, a bug of some sort deletes my zip and inserts "MCGDOG" in it's
place. I have scanned my computer with McAfee 8.0, Spy Sweeper and Spybot.
I can't find anything, but it still does this. I did have some spyware a
while back that I got rid of with the above tools. Now I am stumped. Does
anyone have any suggestions?

PA Bear seems to have it: MCGDOG...MCafee Guard Dog? If that is the case,
I can honestly recommend that you dump the Guard Dog. You have to enter
information, such as SSAN, credit card numbers, etc., onto your computer.
Then you have to deal with the fact that any random numeric string which
matches your data will trigger a Guard Dog alert, even if the number is a
GUID for a web site cookie, and completely unrelated to your information;
which could easily just be a substring match in a larger character string.

Guard Dog was just more trouble than it was worth when I tried it. I
finally just got rid of it.
