Zip Code Formatting

I am having a problem formatting my postal codes in Access 2003. Instead of
showing the "0", it omits it. How do I properly set up tables to format zip
code numbers?

Set the field as a TEXT field, not a number field. Numbers are used if you
need to perform math on the field.

I tried using the input mask and used the zip code option, unfortunately, it
still will not show the "0" or, if I add a placeholder to the front, it will
show the "0" for places like FL and AZ. What did I input improperly?

I tested this input mask: 9999\-999;0;*

The zero was not cutoff...what input mask are you using and which zero is
cutoff?

I suggest that you don't use a zip-code mask, at least not unless you
are 100% sure that you will not have any non-US addresses. Just use a text
field.

BTW is that any zero or just a leading zero or a trailing zero?
