worse than what you outline here. The new 64 mainboards with PCI2 and PC
Express and the 64 bit Intel's and associated chipsets will most likely
leave your zinman cooler behind gathering dust. Wait if you want, however;
if you wish to USE something 32 bit youse better attempt to mod your cooler
to fit something you can obtain soon and real soon.

imho of course. I'm hoping my HP 873n holds together until the change over
to 64 stuff hits the street. I have the blue light fans tye wrapped to the
open left side of my PC box. Don't look good - or sounds as cool (pun
intended) as what you propose to do - but it is up and running and
sponsoring this email huh.

a fortiori

I bought this 7000a Cu cpu cooler and its FANTASTIC nice and quiet and
GREAT.

One prob was going to upgrade to a Barton 2500, PC 3200 ram ect, BUT,
the mainboards i want are not compatible with the Cooler you may say
chuck the cooler ?, but no i love my Zalman so ill wait till the
socket 393/s or whatever the new athlons are the cooler should fit
that kind of board fine :)

Saved me some money for alittle while give me time to save up.

If you want to anoy me, just let me know a board this cooler will fit,
The latest Abit and Asus Boards are a NO GO :(, i did find an Aopen
board but from the reaction of the guy at the local PC shop he could
get it but bad response about Aopen from him put me off the board even
the the reviews says it ok.

If you have a good board thats compatile let me know they have the
compat boards on the website but would have not a glue what the lesser
known brands boards are good or not.

Thanks for listening.

Bye.

I just stuck one on an Abit NF7-M today. I had to cut about 1/4" of the
mounting bracket off, but that's alright, the extra 1/4" (the part with the
outer hole) is there for mounting on P4 boards.
