I've been receiving message "Your account is configured
to prevent you from using computer. Please try another
computer." in a message box at logon try. I'm with WINXP
Pro with all patches applied. I used to logon
successfully after several restarts! I have local login
right for sure. Where is this misterious setting, which
doesn't allow me to logon from time to time? If I add
myself in admin group every login try is passed without
problem.
In security log there is Event ID = 533 with message
Logon Failure:
Reason: User not allowed to logon at this computer.
User Name: <MyUser>
Domain: <MyLocalPc>
Logon Type: 2
Logon Process: User32
Authentication Package: Negotiate
Workstation Name: <MyLocalPc>
