you should be able to change the email address on outgoing mail

Why can't you change you email address on outgoing mail. For example I have
email forwarding (eg (e-mail address removed) get forwarded to
(e-mail address removed)) and my outgoing eamils show my address as
(e-mail address removed). I want it to show as (e-mail address removed)

Of course you can! Go to the Email account and change the email address! You
can put anything you like there.
