You can buy Vista for less than a $100, but the Wow is extra...

I don't know what the problem is with all you people who feel you were
misinformed or otherwise conned. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Microsoft explained everything concerning the difference between Vista
capable and Vista Premium capable. Microsoft informed you that Vista capable
would only run the Basic Vista. Microsoft informed you that Vista capable
would not necessarily run the Aero. I saw this information, from Microsoft,
in so many places on so many occasions that I don't understand how someone
could fail to understand the differences involved. I also saw this
information on many, many websites where the operating systems were evaluated
and the differences explained. When you make a purchase of anything, without
evaluating the product, you have nobody to blame but yourself. I understood
the differences between Vista capable and Vista Premium capable the very
first time I read it. Don't expect Microsoft to compensate you for your own
stupidy or lack of foresight. It is my sincere desire that the judge declares
the lawsuit frivolous and forces the plaintiffs to pay Microsoft's attorney
fees. Am I an attorney? No. Do I work for Microsoft? No. Do I care about
individual rights and compensation when someone has been wronged or injured?
Yes. Do I like Microsoft? No, I do not. I think the company is monopolistic
and a bunch of bullies. However, I do like their software so I will continue
to buy it. Am I a superintelligent person who read between the lines of
Microsoft's advertising of the Vista product. No, I am not. I am only a
cement mason. However, I had no problem understanding the different versions
of Vista. That is why I bought a new computer that was "Vista Premium
capable".

Do or did any of the stickers say "Vista Aero" capable?

Hey Frank, you must like sticking your foot in your mouth. I've
related many times my Giagbyte motherboard according to their web site
proudly displays the Microsoft certified logo, yet if you read some of
my other posts you know it fails to work correctly with SATA drives
regardless if the latest BIOS, chipset, controller update are
installed. Probably due to the FACT I have a revision 1 board. Maybe
you should just LISTEN, you never know, you may learn something yet.

Read is a four-letter word. For years I thought is was only the younger
generation that didn't read. I am now a member of a computer club in a
Nevada retirement community. I see examples of folks not reading and then
complaining that there is no information on such and such a subject. They
blame the HOA for not keeping them informed. They generally fume and sputter
when you show them page n of the monthly magazine that explains the subject
and especially when your state that it has been in every issue since 2001,
when you explain that it was sent my the email bulletins to all that had
placed their e-mail addresses on the community web site (you can tell by
their blank looks that they didn't know there was a web site)...
