Yellow Text Fields

I've recently noticed that some text fields in forms on different Web pages
have a yellow background. Most Text fields have the default white
background. I can see no rhyme/reason why these fields have a yellow
background. When I re-visit these sites/forms, the same fields consistently
have a yellow background. I've even created my HTML forms and fields in
those forms have a yellow background.
Any one know what the reason for the yellow fields is?

Yes, it's your Google bar. If you were to fill out a profile, the yellow
fields would automatically be filled out.

When installing new software, it is a good idea to, at least, peruse its
manual to see what features it provides so you will know what
behaviorial changes it may make in the use or operation of your
computer.

Sounds like you use the Google toolbar and have its AutoFill option
enabled. Of course, maybe you are running some other web enhancement
utility that has a similar auto-fill feature.

Well, you're right. It is the Google bar. I never figured that. Thanks for
the tip.

I'm curious though. The pages I am seeing this effect on, are pages in my
Web app. as well as other sites. In one page, I have about 20 fields
prompting for user info. All of those fields are simply defined as <INPUT
TYPE="TEXT"...>. On that page, a few of the fields have the yellow
background, and it is always the same fields. It doesn't seem to matter what
values I have previously set on this page.
I don't see what's unique about those fields to get the yellow background.
