Yearly Scheduler

G'day ppl

What do think is the best way to setup/structure a work/task scheduler.

Eg, if Mr. Smith wants his grass cut on Wednesday of every week, Mrs. Jones
wants her hedge trimmed on the same sunday of each month, etc.

I want to be able to print a full schedule for the month, something like
this.

November 04

Week No: Day

Mon Tue Wed Thu Fri Sat Sun

42 Smith
43
44
55
Jones

I know a crosstab should take care of the report layout, what I'm not a 100%
certain of is the structure of the table itself. Would I have to have 52
individual fields to represent each week of the year or use the "txtJobDate"
field, reinputting all the dates for the remainder of the year (major drag,
hoping there is another way).

Ideally, I would like a multiple button select, say with
"Weekly","Fortnightly","Monthly:, then the "Day" in which the job is to be
done, then the "Commencement Date", once this is done, all I really would
like to do is to be able to click "Print Schedule", then enter the
month/year criteria for the report to print, then hey presto, my schedule
for the month in black & white.

really looking forward to your thoughts & ideas.

TIA

Mark.

P.S.

By the way, I'm using Acc97, I know it's getting dated, but I am hesitant in
taking the jump from DAO to ADO, you know, old dogs, new tricks.
