yahoo search engine

Not sure which section to post this question, but I hope
someone here can help me. Since I did something (?) to
my computer, everytime I type something in my Yahoo
search engine, the previous searches come up. (are these
cookies) How do I turn these off. I don't need to see
them. Is it something in Yahoo preferences...I couldn't
find anything. thanks.

Hi,
If you're using the Yahoo Companion toolbar, click on the pencil icon. Clear
recent searches will be one of the options.

If not, try IE> Tools> Internet Options> Content> Autocomplete> Clear forms.
